As the summer draws to a close and parents turn their thoughts to the new school year, I would like to invite you to include Temple Judea’s Religious School in your children’s plans. It is truly an excellent program with an involved educator, a Rabbi who cares, a program for family education, weekday and Shabbat Classes, and the committed support of the congregation.
We can offer you:
- Small class size and specialized learning
- A religious school where your children can make Jewish friends
- Both cognitive and affective learning: there are classes in Hebrew, synagogue skills, online learning, learning through cultural experiences, and other non-traditional school activities
- Frequent visits from our Rabbi Linson
- A warm, welcoming environment for your children, their formal introduction to their Jewish Community
I encourage you to contact us at the synagogue and sign up your children for the new school year. Classes begin September 12.
They meet on Monday and Wednesdays from 4:15 – 6:15p and Saturdays from 10am – 12:00 noon.
I urge all of us to use this new year wisely. Take advantage of the rich resources of our congregational family.
I look forward to the coming year, and look forward to your input as we as a congregational family work together towards the transmission of our heritage to the next generation.
My best wishes to you for a new year of health and productivity.
B'shalom,
Barbara Fleischer
